Whether messy or sleek, big or small, the high puff is undefeated! Whether casual or dressy, a high puff is perfect for every occasion. For this style, you can gather all of your hair and pull it up with a scrunchie, scarf, or big headband for a quick and cute updo.
If you are in a rush, this style will never you. High puffs are a great protective style because they are easy to achieve and low manipulation. To spice up your high puff, add some braids or twists in the front as shown below.
2) Braided Low Puff on Stretched Hair
Now to my anti-heat extremists, this one is debatable. However, styling natural hair when in a stretched or blown out state is easier for many naturals to maintain. Blow drying your natural hair makes detangling easier and limits the amount of tangles while styling, which in the long run reduces breakage caused by styling damage.
If you are reluctant to blow drying, do not worry! This style would be just as gorgeous on non-stretched natural hair. Grab your favorite detangling product, and give it a go. Remember to brush and style gently!
